The Chevrolet Enthusiasts Car Club – Auckland Branch, hosts this annual swap meet at the A & P Showgrounds in Pukekohe. The swap meet covers these extensive grounds and attracts a large crowd of car enthusiasts looking for that elusive part. There is a great variety of stalls, something for everyone, including the ladies. This is a great chance to actually inspect and touch, smell the grease and oil of the parts you are interested in purchasing. The added bonus and interest of the “Show and Shine” on Sunday ensures that all makes and models of vehicles are most welcome and eligible to enter, with the driver receiving free admission. This year the judges are looking for the vehicle with the best engine bay, the best paintjob, the best interior, the best original and the best overall.. There is of course the ever popular People’s Choice as well. The weekend is a great opportunity for vehicle enthusiasts to meet up with like minded people, have fun and go home with a bargain ( hopefully ).Sites are competitively priced for the weekend and available from Friday afternoon.
